Welcome to the Scripture Union of Kenya website
Scripture Union of Kenya is part of the worldwide family of Scripture Unions, as an inter-denominational organization that operates in over 130 nations of the world. The organization started as Children Special Service Ministry (CSSM) with the express mission of reaching out to children with the Good News of Jesus Christ. The ministry has evolved and now has components that target young people adults as well.

The aims of Scripture Union are two fold and include:
1). Making God’s Good News known to Children, Young people and families.
2). Encouraging people of all ages to meet God daily through the Bible and prayer.

Ultimately, Scripture Union would like to see people come to personal faith in Jesus Christ, grow in Christian maturity and become servants in a world in need.

TESTIMONY OF THE SEASON

Wambui is a class 7 pupil in St. Michael Primary School in Embu. She once ran away from home to Mombasa, with the hope of making a career from music. But things did not work as she expected and she sought for help to go back home in Embu. Back in school and discouraged, she joined the Bible Club and went through counselling with the support of her Bible club patron, Mrs. Maina. In a children's rally at Kavutiri Primary school in Manyatta early in the year, she opened up and testified of how she had received emotional, spiritual and social support through Bible club meetings.

KIDSWe need to reach out to more schools and more young people like Wambui. To know how to help us accomplish this goal, Partner with Us
